Good Samaritan Mission
Provision Ministries International (PMI) partners with Good Samaritan Mission (GSM) in India. For over 35 years GSM has ministered to the unreached people of rural India. Good Samaritan Mission focuses on the lowest castes – people considered “less than human” by their society.
Over the past several years, through the generosity of those who partner with us, PMI has raised funds to enable Good Samaritan Mission to rebuild the Kolluru Orphanage in Andhra Pradesh, India. In addition to the orphanage, Good Samaritan Mission assists children with two day care centers, helps the elderly with two homes, provides safe drinking water to communities, and provides medical assistance in homes and via a mobile unit.
PMI Embarks On New Project With Good Samaritan Mission
In September 2023 the PMI Board approved a new project, to raise funds for GSM to enable them to purchase a nearby school facility which is available for purchase. It is approximately half a mile from the orphanage and is within walking distance for the children. It has 11 classrooms, a kitchen, a lunch room area, a playground, restroom facilities, and a small garden. It also includes a small home for a night watchman.
We are pleased to announce that we will immediately begin raising $103,000 USD for the purchase of this property which includes the school facility and sufficient funds to upgrade the facility for use. We invite you to join us in this educational endeavor.
